A virtual duplicate of the planet Earth, this nameless world saw the near complete annihilation of its humanoid population around the Earth calendar year 1965 with the release of a genetically engineered virus known as the Life Prolongation Project. After the destruction of Vulcan in 2258, Prime-Spock led the Vulcan people to this world in order to establish a new homeworld for both the remaining Vulcan people and the surviving Miran natives.

CitiesEdit

In order to avoid confusion with similar locations on Earth, and to denote the unique Vulcan-Miran identity of the current society, most places have been re-christened.

Starfleet Medical

Federation Children's Hospital in 2387.

Federation Children's HospitalEdit

Due to the Miran lifespan and their unique viral blood factors present in their physiology, the study of the Mirans has expanded medical knowledge of humanoid pediatrics by a fair margin. Under the auspices of Starfleet Medical's Pediatrics Division, this medical complex located in the temperate So-Cal coastal region pioneers new research in the care of these centuries old children while simultaneously working to contain the deadly pathogen locked away in their blood cells.

New Vulcan Science AcademyEdit

Nestled in the fertile Kashmir Valley, the re-established Vulcan Science Academy continues to rival its Trill and Daystrom counterparts as one of the principle institutes of learning outside of Starfleet Academy.

Fort AbaKurEdit

Tucked deep inside of an American military installation fortified against the Cold War in the late 1950's, Fort AbaKur in the Cheyenne Mountains of Colorado is home to the Vulcan High Command's Self-Defense Forces and its Starfleet liaison offices and is responsible for homeworld defense. It is the only military installation on the planet.
