The Commander-in-Chief of Starfleet is the most senior officer in the fleet, responsible for all personnel, vessels, stations, posts, materiel, actions, and duties of the fleet. They report directly to the Federation President and hold the rank of Fleet Admiral.
The current Commander-in-Chief of Starfleet is Fleet Admiral Victor Murdock.
